OBJECTIVE: This is a level II edged weapons program. Martial Blade Concepts "Core Skills" Level 2 course is focused on building upon the fundamental skills established in the introductory "Core Skills" seminars. Therefore, completion of the MBC "Core Skills" (Level 1) course will be a prerequisite to attending Level 2. Martial Blade Concepts "Core Skills" Level 2 will continue to develop the students' understanding of the Martial Blade Concepts method.
 
TOPICS COVERED:
Day 1: Classroom Instructors House
• Review of MBC Core Skills Level One material
• Angles of attack with an emphasis on building defensive responses to backhand attacks (Angles 2 and 4) and straight line attacks (Low 5 and High 5)
• MBC 'Lego' methodology
• Introduction to MBC flow drills
 
Day 2: 9am – 4:30pm Classroom instructors House
• Review of Day 1
• Counter Blade Concepts
- Empty Hand defense against A2 and A4 attacks
- Split-X defense against L5
- Passing Drill
